When i have read the Usability Test, I sadly find my blog looks like very simple and need a overall design for it. This is my first blog, but i want to make it more entertainning and colourful.
I think images and vedio can enrich the blog and attract readers, I prepare to put some pictures into my blog, it's very important for a blog. And a overall design is crucial. It includes colour,text font,background music and format of the blog. It must seem to be harmonize. And these also can be changed usually. My blog's base colour is green. It's a hoping colour and my favorite colour. I think I will change to black( a cool colour) soon. It maybe a different feeling for readers. Also the organization of blog must be clear. I will try my best to design my blog and make it more interesting.

I like the overall look of this blog. I think you could use some pictures to help make it look a little better though, I think we all could. I noticed that there aren't any links when referring to other websites, so maybe providing a link would help the reader know more about what you're talking about and make it easier. I also think posting some videos of anything would be cool!
ReplyDeleteI think it is pretty well organized, in terms of the content you wrote about. I like that there aren't blocks of texts too big to read, so nothing is intimidating the reader which is good.
I like the font, color, and background choice you use. I think the green looks nice. I think you're posts do not contain useless words either which is very good. I like the navigation is very simple and straightforward so it's easy to look around on the blog.
I especially like the About section because it contains a lot of information about you, and that picture is also a good thing for your blog. I also like the title of the blog: Lost&Found. Maybe you could explain what that means or why you chose it as a title.
For someone who's first blog it is, I think there are a lot of cool features here, like the reactions after each of your posts. A lot of your posts are straight to the point which I like. Maybe add some more pictures or videos to your posts to make it seem more interesting and get some more comments from people. Overall, though, good job! I like it a lot and it should only get better!
I enjoy the look of this blog. Maybe some more pictures and videos to go with some of your posts? I also think that you should provide some more links as examples of what you're trying to explain. Of course this is stuff we all need to consider as beginner blogers. We all just need to mention and site more things in our posts to make them more interesting to other readers. Then maybe we can get more followers.
ReplyDeleteThere are no real large chunks of texts, you have done a very good job at breaking the text up into little paragraphs so the post doesn't look too long. Maybe some headers if you get to really long posts?
The overall design of the site is very good. I like the green theme and everything seems to match. However, maybe choose a darker green for the text because it is a little hard to see. There isn't really any noise which is always good, and I don't get distracted while reading your posts. You're also always very to the point with your posts as I read a couple of them. Your site is pretty simple so it is obviously easy to navigate. You have a creative title I'm sure but maybe explain what it means in your about me section?
The about me section is really good! I enjoyed learning a few interesting facts about you and it wasn't too long or short. The site doesn't look sloppy and it looks professional. I think that with more time it will look even more professional as you get more into blogging and better at it. This is a good blog site! Not too flashy but not boring either. The color is a good choice. Hope you could take something from my advice!
a small suggestion: I think the background color and the text color are a little bit too similar, you'd better make them more distinguished and readable!!
